IMPORTANT FLORIDA PRIMARY VOTING INFORMATION

In preparation for the 2010 Primary Election in Florida, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections is providing the following information for voter education purposes and for media to share with the community.

Voters should take note that Florida law required voters to present picture ID with

signature. Acceptable forms of ID are:

• Florida Driver’s License

• Florida ID Card

• US Passport

• Military or Student ID

• Public Assistance ID

• Neighborhood association idnetification

• Debit/Credit Card

Please note: IDs must have current signature. Any combination of picture and signature

is accepted.

Important Primary Election Dates:

July 26 - Last day to register to vote for the August Primary Election

August 9 - Early Voting begins

August 18 - Deadline for requests for absentee ballots to be mailed

August 24 - Primary Election Day
